Frankincense Frereana
Boswellia frereana
Somali: Maydi · also known as Maidi, Frankincense Frereana, Coptic Frankincense, Weihrauch Frereana
Character
Frankincense Frereana is our signature oil. Boswellia frereana grows only on the limestone cliffs of the Cal Madow, no other habitat worldwide. The distillate carries that character through unfiltered: dry, pine-fresh, with the quiet clarity connoisseurs prize in frereana. First batch in preparation. Availability expected Q4 2026 – Q1 2027.
Olfactory profile
A fresh, citrusy top phase carried by a clear pine accord. A resinous, dry heart with no sweet undertone. It fades quietly and woody.
